Estrabet 2 Tablet is a female sex hormone (estrogen). This is a type of hormone replacement therapy (HRT) that is used to treat symptoms associated with menopause (hot flushes, vaginal dryness, and itching), estrogen deficiency, and thinning of bones (osteoporosis).

Product introductionYAZ Tablet is a combination of two medicines used for contraception (to prevent pregnancy) and in the treatment of irregular periods. It helps to prevent the release and fertilization of the egg.

YAZ Tablet can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as per your doctor's advice. You will have to take the pill on day one of your menstrual cycle and continue taking it for a whole month. Once the pack gets over, start with a new one. If you experience vomiting within 4 hours of dose intake, take another tablet. In case you missed your dose and you are late by 12 hours in taking the missed dose, use a condom during intercourse for a period of 2 days.

Nausea, headache,  breast pain, and mood changes, vaginal discharge, and vaginal yeast infection are some commonly seen side effects of this medicine. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. You might experience spotting or bleeding between menstrual periods or missed periods. Consult with your doctor if this occurs frequently or persists longer. Inform your doctor if you notice swelling and pain in your limbs, shortness of breath, chest pain or changes in vision, as it may be a sign of a blood clot.

YASMIN FTB Tablet is a combined oral contraceptive pill that contains Ethinyl Estradiol and Drospirenone. It is primarily used for preventing pregnancy and also offers additional hormonal benefits.

This tablet works by inhibiting ovulation (release of egg), altering the cervical mucus to prevent sperm entry, and changing the uterine lining, making it less suitable for implantation.

In addition to contraception, YASMIN FTB is also prescribed for:

• Regulating irregular menstrual cycles
• Reducing menstrual pain (dysmenorrhea)
• Managing acne and oily skin caused by hormonal imbalance
• Treating symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS)

It is usually taken once daily at the same time, following a 21-day or 28-day cycle as directed by a healthcare professional.

YASMIN FTB should be used under medical supervision, especially in women with a history of blood clots, heart disease, liver disorders, or smoking habits, as it may increase the risk of serious side effects.
